🔴🔴🔴 IMPORTANT UPDATE: The diamond gain amount in the final area in the Diamond Mine realm has been nerfed, making it a lot less over powered.
With this week's Pet Simulator X update comes an incredible boost to earning Pet Simulator X diamonds plus a bunch of epic new features including QUESTS, a new way to earn great rewards. Let's dive into it all right now!
👋 Also, for those who are new here, welcome to The Bloxay Blog, a weekly blog where I talk about social media, web creation, philosophy, and of course gaming. Be sure to check back every Sunday for a post or two.
💎💎💎 First up: HUGE Diamond Buff!
The first change everyone is talking about is the mega diamond buff introduced in this update. Starting today, players in Pet Simulator X can earn up to 7x the previous amount! For many, it'll be a much needed buff following a hard week for Free-To-Play players.
So, let's look at the details:
💎 The first area, Paradise Cave has been buffed by 2x!
💎💎 The second area, Cyber Cavern has been buffed by 3.5x!
💎💎💎 The final, pro-only area, Mystic Mine, has been buffed by 7x!
In addition to this, there have been all-around improvements and increases for all players to enjoy in the Diamond Mine:
✨ The spawn rate of diamonds has been increased by ~4x! This means you can access your epic diamond rewards quicker than ever.
✨ The spawn rate of AFK chests has been reduced by half from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
✨ AFK chests are now in their own area, making it easier than ever to AFK grind.
This is spectacular to see after last week's update, which left some players overall disappointed from the amount of diamonds they were getting, especially with the harsh price they were having to pay to enter (sacrificing a Huge pet for the last world).
So, is the final area inside of the Diamond Mine World worth it?
Absolutely! As it currently stands, the sacrifice of a Huge pet is easily worth it as you can earn back the amount of diamonds it requires very quickly. However, the price of Huges will inflate too, thus, long-term, it could be a bad choice. Ultimately, its up to you on whether or not you should get the new world.
📈📈📈 Want an EXTRA DIAMOND BOOST?
Here's how you can be earning the BEST amount of diamonds!
Collect Rainbow and Orange fruits around the map, as they'll give you diamond multipliers (more on this below)!
Use Royalty enchanted pets, as they have 100% more damage and earns 100% more diamonds!
Look for diamond piles, presents, chests, and vaults with multipliers, as they'll give you an extra boost, sometimes rewarding up to 100x diamonds!
🙁 Sadly, this doesn't solve all the issues...
In this update, players could be upset at the nerfed loot bags change that BIG Games developers made, and inflation could mean this update is meaningless long-term. Overall, its a good buff for players at the moment, but will only get less and less good over time.
MOVING ON... INTRODUCING QUESTS!
In other news, quests have been added to Pet Simulator X! Earn points for free by completing quests and collect epic rewards using the all-new Quest Shop!
The new quests in Pet Simulator X are an awesome addition for sure, providing an extra activity whether you're a new player or one which has been playing for a long time! Quests can be found in every area of the Pet Simulator X Universe, and you can start earning quest points immediately by looking at the quests sign at the end of each area.
You can earn different amounts of Quest Points - a new currency in Pet Simulator X - by completing up to three quests in each area. Then, when you're ready, see the ALL NEW Quest Shop!
🤑 The Quest Shop, Quest Egg, M-10 items, and more!
They added another shop, but is it good or bad? 😁
As shown in the image above, players can now spend Quest Points in the Quest Shop to unlock epic Quest rewards!
Let's take a look at the rewards in-depth:
The M-10 Rewards
The Quest Egg: The Quest Egg is a pretty mid-tier egg, neither good nor bad. Considering that you don't earn that many Quest Points though, I'd recommend staying away from the egg as there is a 0.1% chance for just a Huge pet, meaning this Huge is close to being as rare as some Titanics.
The M-10 Quest Hoverboard: The M-10 Quest Hoverboard is a pretty good reward to go for, especially if you're one for collecting the hoverboards. While not the cheapest item in the shop by far, this two-flame speed hoverboard can be good for some players as it has a good design and pretty good speed.
The M-10 Quest Booth Style: The new M-10 Quest Booth Style, whilst good, overall doesn't really help you out with the game, so for the price of 1,000 Quest Points, its a hard purchase to justify. That said, it can be good for you if you spend a lot of time in the Trade Plaza.
Other Rewards
The Quest Shop Boost Pack: This pack is probably the worst purchasable item in the shop. Whilst it gives a lot of boosts, you can earn so many more so easily by just playing the game normally, and for the price of 800 Quest Points, its really not something worth it.
+1 Pet Slot: This is probably the best reward you can get, and its shown with its crazy 7,500 Quest Point price tag. You can equip one additional pet at a time, and that's +2 in Hardcore mode. Pretty awesome!
Pet Storage: This reward is pretty mid overall, its not good, but, it's only 800 Quest Points, so get it if you want to, although far from the best reward.
Diamond Rewards (Small, Medium, Large): These rewards are pretty good, however, you can easily earn the amount of diamonds and more quickly in the Diamond Mine, so I'd recommend only spending your Quest Poitns on these if you've bought all the rest.
